Dive Bequia has been sending divers and snorkelers out into the Grenadines for years, and the whole operation still runs the way it always has: small boats, small groups, and a crew that knows these reefs like their own front yard.
Bequia's backyard happens to be one of the healthiest stretches of reef left in the Caribbean — sloping coral gardens, dramatic walls, swim-throughs and the odd sunken wreck, all just minutes from where our boats launch, right off the beach. Hawksbill turtles cruise past on the regular, and seahorses hide in the sea grass if you know where to look. We do.
Whether you're chasing your first bubbles or your five-hundredth dive, pulling on a mask for the very first time, or you just want the boat to yourselves for the afternoon — this is where the day starts.

Every trip is built around your group, your certification, and how much time you've got. Here's where to start.
Guided Dives
Guided Dives
Most days start with a two-tank morning trip and a single-tank run in the afternoon, all led by a divemaster who dives these sites more than anyone. We keep groups small and match the site to the conditions and to who's on the boat — a sloping reef for a relaxed drift dive, a wall for something with more depth, or the cave at Moonhole if everyone's game.
Expect Hawksbill turtles, big schools of fish, and the occasional blacktip shark cruising past — plus the small stuff too, if you know to slow down and look: seahorses, frogfish, nudibranch and octopus.
Private Charters
Private Charters
Sometimes you just want the boat to yourselves. Book a private charter for your family, your yacht's crew, or a group of friends, and we'll build the day around you — a mix of diving and snorkeling, a slow cruise along the coast, or a beach stop between tanks. Great for groups that dive at different levels, or don't dive at all and just want to be out on the water.
We can arrange pickup from your yacht's mooring in Admiralty Bay, or you can meet us at the dive shop on the Belmont Walkway — we try not to pick up from the beach.
Snorkel Trips
Snorkel Trips
You don't need a certification card to see what makes Bequia's water special. Our guided snorkel trips head out over the same healthy reefs our divers use, at an easy, unhurried pace — perfect for first-timers, kids, and anyone happiest with their face in the water and the sun on their back.
We keep an eye out for turtles, rays, and reef fish, and stay close by, so non-swimmers and nervous first-timers are just as welcome as strong swimmers.
Instruction
PADI & SSI Instruction
We teach both PADI and SSI courses, from a first Discover Scuba experience through Open Water certification and on up toward Divemaster — so you can choose the agency that suits you, or match whatever card you're already carrying. Classes stay small and personal, with confined-water sessions before your open water dives, at a pace that actually makes sense for you.
Already certified and want to go further? Ask about specialty courses — navigation, night diving, buoyancy, and more.
Snorkel & Equipment Rental
Travelling light? Our rental gear covers the essentials — masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, torches and dive computers, sized for kids and adults alike. Everything's kept in good condition and ready to go, whether you're joining one of our boats or just want snorkel gear for an afternoon at the beach.
Diving with your own kit? We'll happily store it at the shop for the length of your trip, so you're not hauling gear back and forth from your hotel or boat.

Meet The Crew
Run by Cathy Sachs and Scott Hutton
Dive Bequia is owned and run by Cathy Sachs, a PADI instructor who's spent more time underwater around this island than most of us spend on land.
The shop itself is small on purpose — the same familiar faces greet you at the dock, fill your tanks, and lead your dives, trip after trip. That's the whole philosophy here: no big-resort feel, no rotating cast of strangers.
Just a crew that loves this stretch of the Grenadines and wants you to love it too — whether that's your first fin-kick or your fiftieth trip back to Bequia.
